My free software kfNgram finds n-grams, also known as lexical chains,
    lexical bundles or clusters.
       http://kwicfinder.com/kfNgram/kfNgramHelp.html

A later version of the software, not publicly released, also finds
"phrase -frames", i.e. patterns like "by the * of" and their variants
"by the end of", "by the use of", "by the time of" etc. Users who are
willing to tolerate an interim version of the software are welcome to
    request it directly from me.

Finally, my almost-ready-for-release website (TBA here in the next week
or two; URL and details subject to change)
       http://usna.edu/LangStudy/BNC/
allows one to study n-grams, phrase-frames and POS-patterns (in
development) in data from the BNC. Since it is still under development
this site will be unavailable sporadically.

    Bill Fletcher
